I planned my first cruise as a passenger, not a professional, and got it wrong in almost every way a first timer can. Wrong cabin, wrong dining time, missed the one excursion I actually wanted. That trip is the reason Royal Serene Travel exists. Nobody should have to learn all of that the hard way. Does Royal Serene Travel charge fees for cruise planning?
No. I do not charge a separate planning fee for cruise bookings. I am compensated by the cruise lines, while you receive personalized guidance, cabin selection assistance, booking support, and continued help at no additional planning cost.
Why use a cruise travel agent instead of booking a cruise myself?
You can book a cruise yourself, but working with a cruise travel agent gives you personal guidance and one consistent point of contact. I help compare ships and itineraries, explain the tradeoffs, choose a suitable cabin location, manage the reservation details, and provide support before and after booking.
Do I pay more by booking through a travel agent?
No, not simply because you book through a travel agent. Cruise fares are set by the cruise line and can change based on availability and promotions. I do not add a separate planning fee, and in some cases I may have access to secured group rates or added amenities that are not shown in a standard online search.
Which cruise lines do you specialize in?
I hold specific line certifications with Carnival Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean, Norwegian Cruise Line, Virgin Voyages, and MSC Cruises, and I use that training to help match travelers with the right ship, itinerary, cabin, and onboard experience. That said, I'm not limited to these five, I can book almost any cruise line, so if you already have a specific one in mind, I can help with that too.
